Enable Testimonies, Joseph Vaillancourt

The one thing I’ve learned through the enABLE Ministry has been the importance of being faithful and loving what God gives us to do.  I am taken by how faithful God is to his people and the extent Jesus went to ensure that people had every opportunity to know our heavenly father.  Recently, I found the writings of the Apostle Paul in Romans 6.17-19 to be very encouraging because Paul seemed to understand that we are all limited in some way.  Over the years, I have found the faithfulness and patients of GOD to be helpful in helping me to understand his word.  Discipleship is about learning to pattern our faith and life after Jesus.  However, our human limitations and may I say disabilities make it hard for us.  As the LORD and our high priest uses the enABLE Ministry to disciple Christian’s with disabilities, I am taken by how much his power is seen in the lives of Christians with learning disabilities, Down Syndrome, Autism and number of disabilities. As we learn together from the HOLY SPIRIT how to pattern our lives and ministry after Jesus, I too am grateful for the grace of God.

Let me end with giving you the words Paul wrote in Romans 6.17-19:

But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations
